Kim McGrath Anderson sculpture
Originally from Chicago, Kim McGrath Anderson received her
Bachelor’s Degree in art studying sculptural ceramics from University of
Colorado Boulder in 1996, and then her Master's Degree in Sculpture from Regis University in 2012.
Her first box sculptures were exhibited in 1998 with her first solo exhibition in 1999. 
Anderson then moved to black and white infrared photography and exhibited these images
between 2000 and 2002 including a solo show and commissioned show in 2001.  Between
2002 and 2006, Anderson traveled, managed a craft gallery, and curated an art
collection as well as continuing to teach.  In 2005, Anderson began
combining sculptural containers with layers of constructed and found objects
combined with glass and light to express the emotions felt at intense universal
experiences in life such as birth, loss, and love.  Anderson currently resides
in Denver creating and exploring with her 3 curious children and 2 fluffy sheepdogs
