In my work, I release the overflow of emotions I feel about one
of life’s most intense experiences, motherhood.They are expressions
of the inner most core of what is felt at particular moments from the
protectiveness of pregnancy to the growth of a child’s
independence.They reveal windows into hidden sentiments both joyful
and bittersweet.


The containers are the enclosure of emotions; how I try to
cherish them.  Inside the containers, found and constructed objects
with glass and light represent the layers and depth of emotion; the memories of
moments that I treasure.


Creating these pieces gives me the opportunity to celebrate and
chronicle these experiences, and therefore to use it to grow and gain a deeper
understanding and appreciation of my life.
